@tcwm02 1) No they will not come with dvr docks you will have to purchase them separately for $99.99. 2) The 101 has 1024x600 pixels and 43 has 480x854 pixels, but 101 is WXVGA which is better and 43 is FWVGA. Audi playback in 101 is 5.1 and in 43 it is stereo obviously that means that 101 has better sound quality. 101 has webcam as well where as 43 does not has webcam. 3) these will be available in states in October 2010 hope this helps in your decision

I'll say it. Tablet computers are stupid, and will never catch on. They're too big to hold. They aren't logical. Every time I see someone holding a tablet, it's like looking at someone talk on one of those four inch thick cellphones from the eighties. It looks absurd. The iPod touch, and smart phones, are very intuitive to use. They fit in the palm of a hand, and in a pocket, and the touch control makes sense at that size. It just doesn't work on a bigger scale. That's my two cents.

It's not even a full computer (no multitasking or full version of computer apps) Don't get me wrong I love the ipad, but it's not that special technologically. I'm no Linux guru but I will say that i've run Ubuntu for 3yrs now and I believe the little X everyone is referring to could actually be a bluetooth mouse he has paired up. The 'X' mouse cursor looks just like that in linux on earlier builds. (as you know Linux is very customizable unlike apple products) just a thought, I may be wrong. peace!

No im looking at what it can and how useful it will be, and i conclude that it can't do what i wan't it to do, and then it would be a waste of money to buy it. No im not saying that it can't handle it, but the keyboard is the issue. A on screen keyboard isn't as comfortable and probably not as fast to use either. And no the HDD capacity is not enough at all. Programs i use in my school and documents have filled up over 30GB already. And i haven't even used my computer for a year so far.

your trying to find a reason why not to buy it while it should be the other way around. awkard position? you'd have to place it on a table or on your knees, just like you would with a notebook. the keyboard is almost normal size, at least that's what Jobs said. iPad supports word and excel's file types so that's not an issue either. hdd capacity - unless you're a professional photographer what would you need more space for..

maybe if you only have to write an email, but i doubt that you would be able to do anything near the typeing rate as you would on a normal keyboard. Not to mention the akward position you have to hold it to be able to do it. Im not talking about special programs. Just normal stuff like exel and word. It just faster and more comfortable with a normal keyboard. Also with the very limited ammount of HDD capacity you can't really store anything on it.

If you have to do something on the job, or school etc. And the tablet thing is really usefull for school work that im using it for. Taking notes for something technical and just navigating through the menus of a computer is more then twice as fast with the pen then with the normal touchpad. If you have to check out something on the internet while on the run you can do the same on a iphone.

well i cant agree with that. i think that a tablet should be infact a 3rd device between a smartphone and a netbook and is not meant to be a substitution for any of those. if you want to navigate the web in a comfortable way, on a bigger screen which brings many advantages compared to a smaller version (smartphone), and be able to perform some minor activities beside that, and the same time you dont want to carry along a multi task device like a laptop then i think iPad really fits perfectly.

Apple know how to make money and how to make people think that what they are buying is something special. And sure they have made a lot of good products, but the ipad fails in every way. And a tablet pc isn't a handicapped netbook. No you see, a normal laptop or the ipad is the one that is handicapped. A handicap is when something misses an ability, and beeing able to use the screen as a tablet and the keyboard to write stuff makes it have more functions then a normal laptop or the ipad.

@ThePokeman14 Yeah like davomrmac said, it's not the same product, iPad is like an giant iPod Touch, its an mini computer. The Intuos is a tablet you plug in the computer like when you use your mouse to control your cursor, then with intuos you control the cursor with the pen. ;)

I own an Intuos4 tablet size L and I think it's wonderfull.Very happy with it :) Haven't discovered all features yet but the fact you can use it as a lefty so simple is a big thumbs up. I'm used to work from my shoulder and arm that is why I choose the Large size,no problems of running out of tabletspace when I'm drawing :P

@ThePokeman14 Depends how you draw. I own both and I think that it really depends on your own preference. The iPad you can draw with stylus but its quite difficult so going with your finger is the easiest. I find my drawings come out better on the iPad, only for the reason of programs. Intous 4 and iPads are two totally different things so comparing them isnt easy. I still love my Intous 4, its really something to have if you are an artist.

go with the X41 ive got the X41...pretty much the same thing,but- the screen doesnt turn 360 -it only turns in 1 direction....and u cant use ur finger(which was not metioned in this review) the x41 is very fast and if this guy is right,then its better than the X61 cuz i use it for photshop and gaming and its great! the downside to these laptops is the backpage button. gamers- dont get this laptop...youll be using the arrow keys and WAM! you accidently exit the game.happens every time.

yeah i have one its great its super cheap right now too since theyve come out with the newer replacement tablet one downside is they dont really have many options as far as customizing anymore. I've held it a couple times and played around with it and found that it was very similar to my ipod touch. No problem there because I absolutely LOVE my ipod touch and practically use it 24/7. I definitely am going to purchase the Ipad just because it IS a bigger ipod touch and can enhance the experience by like 10x! I would love to be able to watch videos, play games, do email on a bigger screen. I also have a 17" HP Dv9000 laptop that is just too bulky to carry around. The Ipad will be perfect

This is good, but I was really hoping MeeGo for tablets would go with a multiple customizable homescreens like Maemo 5, not a panoramic type homescreen. All it needs is HDMI out, loud stereo speakers that sound great, 2MP front facing camera, a nice music player with customizable equalizers, 3.5mm headphone jack, bluetooth, microSD expansion, built in kickstand, a boat load of apps, and pretty much everything else Apple wouldn't give the iPad. Oh, and Nokia has to make it. Yeah, I'd buy that.

@yur0k and you sir are missing the point. The hardware here is variable. Meego will be used on all kinds of hardware, some better than other. Some cheaper some more expensive. But it will not be limited to run on JUST apple platforms (or any other manufacturers).
